Post-frame vs. stick-frame
Post-frame construction is generally faster to erect and cost-effective for large open spans, but stick framing may make sense for smaller structures needing more conventional interior finish.
Insulation needs
For a shop intended as a conditioned workspace, plan insulation, ventilation and moisture control together. The appropriate materials and placement depend on the building assembly and intended use.
Exposed-fastener vs. standing seam metal

Solid Value Contracting focuses on ground-up construction, including new homes, house shells, barndominiums, detached garages and workshops, agricultural and storage buildings, and commercial shops and offices. Include the new building type and approximate dimensions if known. We are currently focusing on garage and workshop projects 24×24 feet or larger. House additions, garage conversions, remodeling, and standalone foundation or slab projects are outside the standard paid-project focus.
