Meet the Owner

Jesse Miller was ten years old the first time he helped pour concrete. He learned the trade the way people learn best, on real jobs, with real consequences for getting it wrong. Foundation block, framing, concrete. By his teens he was on crews doing siding, roofing, and drywall finishing.

At eighteen he joined the Missouri Army National Guard, where he served through his twenty-fifth year, deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and earned commendations for his service. He came up as an NCO leading a fifteen-soldier company. At twenty-two he pinned on a badge as a Deputy Sheriff in St. Clair County, Missouri, and worked both jobs at once for three years.

In 2016 he went back to building full-time, this time on the management side, rigid frame buildings and storage framing at first, and by 2020 running everything from rigid frame projects to complete house builds. In 2022 he helped develop a commercial roofing company, and in 2023 helped develop a construction company where he ran the office, the sales, the projects, and eventually the whole operation.

In the fall of 2023 he founded Solid Value Contracting LLC.

The name was the promise. Jesse built this company around three things he refuses to bend on: service, integrity, and quality, and he still runs it that way. Houses, barns, roofing and siding, decks. Truman Lake and the surrounding communities. His customers tend to say the same things about him: he tells you the truth, he shows up, and he will not let bad work go out the door with his name on it.
